This is a beautiful replica of a Gonzales Chair in Cigar - based on one of the most popular designs of 20th century chairs. The original was designed by Mies van der Rohe, one of the chief promoters of the Bauhaus movement. The frame, produced in Stainless Steel with leather straps, supports the quality, antique effect, real leather seating, making this a comfortable classic icon.
Our Vintage leather sofas are expertly crafted to replicate the antique look with incredibly realistic distressing in the areas that would have received most natural wear over the years. Manufactured with a top quality hardwood frame, eight-way hand tied springs and foam give that desireable lived-in look. The leather needs periodically feeding with a proprietary brand of `leather care` wax or cream to retain the soft, luxurious condition.
